Basic knowledge of the concepts, methods, issues and theories of ethics; in-depth knowledge of selected issues and theories as well as the ability to present them in written and oral form; skills of scientific work; formation of philosophical problem awareness
Introduction into key terminology; history of ethics; systematic outline of ethical theories in the realm of normative ethics, applied ethics (e.g. legal ethics, animal ethics, medical ethics, technology ethics) as well as metaethics (e.g. foundations of morality, cognitivism vs. noncognitivism, relativism).
