The students become acquainted with a postmigrant perspective on the subject of generation. They are able to work independently and scientifically on selected questions from the subject areas of generation and migration.

In this seminar a postmigrant perspective will be taken. Selected issues and theoretical concepts in the field of postmigration, migration and generation will be addressed. The linking of the topics of migration and generation makes it possible, among other things, to make generational and intergenerational relationships, dynamics and connections in migration societies and in families in particular visible. In the seminar, insights into current projects that deal with these topics will be given in an examination of the current research situation.
