Students are able to describe fundamental topics, methods and applications of German linguistics.

We engage in selected questions, problems and methods of German linguistics that you will encounter during your studies, for example:

• What is language? What are the features of the German language and how does it change?
• What do we do when writing texts and engaging in conversations?
• How do linguists establish their questions and results?
