The course allows students to carry out their own empirical projects, using data derived from authentic sources.

The course examines change and variation at different linguistic levels (morphology, semantics, grammar, etc.) between British and US English.

      

 

Corpus-linguistic and other obervational methods

Regular attendance (presence at the first session mandatory), obligatory readings, group projects (with short presentation), final term paper

Teacher Training Programme BA 2015: positive completion of mandatory module 10

This PS will be offered virtually and asynchronously. Modules stretch from Tuesdays thru Thursdays and work effort will be equivalent to what would usually be the case in a face-to-face weekly 90 minutes format.
