Students know selected topics of the Russian language system. They can analyze these topics from a linguistic perspective as well as offer and implement ideas for their teaching.

The course provides insight into selected topics of linguistics, which are studied and analyzed both from a theoretical and a practical perspective. The course’s topics include morphology, lexical word formation, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, lexis, etc. We will also collect ideas and discuss possibilities on how to teach the course’s topics to learners of Russian.
