winter semester 2022/2023 | Last update: 10.05.2023 | Place course on memo listThe students should get a historical-systemic insight into the different disciplines of the Koran sciences. They should be able to know the most important sub-disciplines and apply them for the understanding and interpretation of the Koran.
The history of revelation and the creation of the Koran and the various disciplines of the Qur'anic sciences, the types of revelation (Wahy), the collection of the Koran, the reasons for the submission, Makki and Madani Ayat and Sure, classification of the Suras and the Ayat, distinct and ambiguous ones (Muhkam and Mutashabih) Ayat, Abrogation (Nasikh and Mansukh) and other sub-disciplines of the Koranic sciences that are important for the context of the world understanding of the Koran.
