Contents:

Introduction to the sources of Islamic Law (Qur'an, Sunna, Consensus, Analogy)

Introduction to the methods of literal interpretation (interpretation of commands and prohibitions, general and specific speech, clarity and amibiguity of used words and techniques of subsumption)

Introduction to further sources (istiḥsān, istiṣlāḥ, ʿurf, sadd aḏ-ḏarāʾiʿ)

Introduction to the categories of human action

Introduction to the goals of the Sharia
