winter semester 2022/2023 | Last update: 29.09.2022 | Place course on memo listAcquisition of skills for dealing with historic sources and studies critically, as well as the competence to present the newly-gained knowledge verbally and/or in writing; Acquisition of the competence to apply methods of auxiliary sciences.
Based on written/printed documents and pictures of the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries with reference to “Europe”, this tutorial conveys insights into the wide range of modern textual and visual sources and into associated research debates.
Reading, analysis and discussion of sources and secondary literature; group work; short presentations by students
