Acquisition of knowledge on the different forms of historic display and the skills to present historic relations on site and to deconstruct display formats. 

Preparation of the voyage to Upper Austria that has always been part of the Babenberg-Habsburg heartlands. While connected to missionary work as well as to expanding monasteries and abbeys in medieval times, it became a centre of protestantism and peasant wars in early modern times – against the backdrop of pronounced manorialism, which applied strong influence on people. The smoking chimneys refer to (early) manufactories as well as – more macabre and problematically – to the concentration camps of the twentieth century. And then there is Linz – with at least two sides: being the centre of the early modern land on the one side and a national socialist „Führer“ city with its utopian plans to become a aequivalent to Berlin on the other side.
