They are capable of explaining and using the employed methods and algorithms. They are capable of using compiler construction tools for building a complete compiler for a simple programming language.
Lexical analysis; Syntactic amalysis (top-down and bottom-up strategies); Semantic analysis; Attribute grammars and attribute evaluation; Intermediate code translation; Runtime environments; Code generation
Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
