We will follow Avi Wigderson's book Mathematics and Computation, which can be freely downloaded here https://www.math.ias.edu/files/Book-online-Aug0619.pdf#page=1

We will start with Chapters 1,2,3,4 and then we will see whether to continue with Chapter 5 or 11. We will try to use lecture hours for discussions (similarly as we did in the lecture Paradoxes in the summer term 2022). At the end of the semester everyone will be able to pick a topic and present it in a 45 min talk.

Time and place: Mondays 10:00-11:45 at 2S17 (first floor of the Institute for Theoretical Physics, ICT Building).

Start: 10.10.22 (because in the morning of 3.10. there is an introduction to studying at MIP) We will start with Chapter 1 and 2 of Wigderson's book, so please read them in advance
