VO Physics 1: Mechanics and Thermodynamics

Basic knowledge of mechanics and thermodynamics. Ability to develop similar concepts in a self-study approach.
Measurements and units; mechanics of point mass and rigid body; elastic bodies and fluids; oscillations and waves; thermodynamics; basic elements of statistical mechanics.
Lecture with demonstration experiments.
Written examination.
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
