They will be able to synthesize information from various perspectives on governance, political economy, academic and publishing industries, social psychological associations, the histories and trends of social hierarchies and scientific philosophy, and lay perceptions of the discipline, and use this knowledge to be able to critically evaluate the field in general, in their nation, and their own approaches to social psychological research and teaching, and to reflect on needed reforms in these settings.
