winter semester 2022/2023 | Last update: 06.03.2023 | Place course on memo listThe participants are able to understand and apply concepts and methods of critical and humanist work and organizational psychology to different fields of work design and organizational culture. They are also able to do literature research related to a given issue of work analysis and work system design.
Prospective design of work tasks and working conditions: Theoretical background, adequate methodological approach under the given conditions of "digital transformation", opportunities and given boundaries of application in different branches, professional fields and organizational cultures.
Employee participation as a key success factor and important enabler of human-centered work design.
Efficient, sustainable and responsible ways and means of "change management" including "digital transformation"
Practical challenges and .resulting research questions in given in humanist anthropocentric work- and organizational psychologyby the societal and organizational need of digital and socioecological transformation
The participants will be asked to study and apply important concepts and methods of critical humanist work and organizational psychology, to do literature research in respect to day-to-day issues given in industrial and organizational pratice of work analysis and work design and to reflect the challenges work and organizational psychologists are facing due to digital and socio ecological transformation. They will do group work related to these issues leading to status reports to be presented during the second block of the seminar.
Quality of issue related status report written down in group work between block 1 and block 2 of the seminar: 60%
Quality of presentation given by the group during block 2 of zthe seminar: 20%
Quality of finalization done after receiving feedback from lecturer and other participants during the second block: 20%
