800704 AG Study Group: Queering Utopia - In Search of other Concepts of Life
winter semester 2022/2023 | Last update: 21.01.2023 | Place course on memo listParticipants learn to recognize and describe concepts of sex, gender, desire and sexuality, that divert from heteronormalcy.
The seminar discusses queer and divergent practices, affects, materialities, orders of knowledge and concepts of self. The readings and writings focus to grabble the difference to and in current orders of heteronormativity.
The seminar provides an interactive process of discovering, encovering and recovering of knowledge. It is grounded in reading on perspectives of queer utopia. Students then will be introduced to a circular process of analysis of a phenomenon, trying to grasp its queer utopia and the work in describing it in an essay.
