winter semester 2022/2023 | Last update: 05.02.2024 | Place course on memo listAnalysis of one's own working style and time management. Students know and apply professional methods of project- and goal-planning, particularly regarding their dissertation projects. They improve their time management.
Identification of personal work style as well as of "time traps". Developing strategies for effective use of time. Definition of goals, implementation of plans and (scientific) projects. Effectiveness versus efficiency - methods of prioritization. Structuring the daily work. Getting to know the scheduling instruments. Dealing with stress and personal energies focused „right“.
Theoretical input, self-reflection, individual and group work. Establish a personal goal and timetable for the year/semester. Students will receive a preparatory document for the analysis of their work style.
Presentation of one's own time management.
A continuous presence is required.
Ranking of registration: Students will be ranked according to semesters. Students of the first or second academic year are preferred.
