Students develop skills in how critical analyses, theoretical strands or approaches can be derived from the positions presented.
In the course, students learn about the political, ideological, artistic and philosophical contexts of architecture, urban planning and landscape from around 1900 to the first half of the 20th century.
The focus of the considerations is the topic of reform, i.e. the efforts of architects and other participants in socio-cultural discourses to introduce improvements to and in our (built) living environments.
