Learning Outcome:

Acquisition of advanced individual knowledge in various biomimetic and bioinic architecture and ability to use this knowledge for implementing structural systems inspired by nature in a reflected and strategic way.

Contents:

Discussion and reflective development and implementation of lightweight structures inspired from living biological systems, and their geometries, taking into account material selection and sustainability aspects.

Methods:

Planned to be face-to-face teaching, online (incase any Covid regulations)

Analytical studies, digital modeling and physical prototyping.

Assessment:

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations".

Literature:

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
