Acquisition of knowledge of the forms of historical display and the competences to present historical relations on site and to deconstruct representation forms.

Knowledge of the didactic possibilities of using museums and memorial sites. Confrontation with various sources and narratives referring to the historic space and its relevant current political setting. Prospective historians are getting used to prepare excursions under specific topics.

AUGSBURG AND UPPER SWABIA The course provides basic knowledge about the diverse territories in the region of Upper Swabia.

Reading, discussion of relevant literature, preparation of material for the excursion.

Preparation of relevant topics for the excursion and final essay.

A list of research literature will be given.
