summer semester 2023 | Last update: 23.06.2023 | Place course on memo listThe students can describe central topics of the philosophy of language with regard to their relevance for metaphysics or ontology. They know the systematic connections between the core topics of philosophy of language, metaphysics and philosophy of religion and can explain/communicate these to both experts and interested laypersons using examples.
In the course we start from central topics of the philosophy of language, examine their relevance for metaphysics/ontology, with regard to selected topics of the philosophy of religion, such as religious speech, existence/existence of God, theodicy.
Lecture with discussion.
Oral exam.
