intimate knowledge of social philosophy and political philosophy as well as the capability of analyzing, interrelating and reflecting it; advanced philosophical reasoning.
In this seminar we are concerned with major problems and theories in the field of philosophy of human rights which will be elaborated in a systematic manner. These include: The origins of human rights (thought); human rights between morality, law and politics; foundations of human rights; universality vs. relativity of human rights; religions/cultures and human rights; contemporary human rights problems in detail.
