The expected learning outcome is a thorough familiarity with selected issues as they are debated in contemporary philosophy, and here mostly from the more theoretical branches of the field, including the pertinent methods.

Besides being a *real* challenge for humankind, climate change poses also a number of philosophical questions, and they are increasingly receiving attention.

These questions range from ethical issues or questions in political philosophy (*climate justice*) to methodological issues and questions in the philosophy of science.

A variety of these questions will be addressed in this course on the *philosophy of climate change*.

Seminar session with classroom discussions and students' presentations.

Presentation plus end-term paper.
