Authentic insights into literary writing

Following on from Schubert's art song "An die Musik", Anna Baar talks about her writing which is strongly inspired by various art forms. She tells of formative encounters, attempts to approach literary works and the people behind them. Moreover, she provides thoughts on reception and criticism – also with regard to aesthetic definitions and moral judgements.

Lecture, reading, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
