This proseminar provides a detailed and up-to-date overview of a variety of topics and methods within applied linguistics.
Key topics: dictionaries for native speakers, learners' dictionaries, online dictionaries, dictionary compilation, dictionary use, as well as various other topics within the field of applied linguistics.
Frontal teaching and tasks.
Active participation in class, oral presentation, written paper (10 pages).
