After having completed the seminar, the participants are (better) aware of the goals they are pursuing with their doctoral studies and, thanks to feedback on the conception and/or selected questions of their PhD topic, they are able to (more) purposefully advance their PhD process.
The course is primarily designed to present and talk about the participants' PhD projects and/or some results of their research. Additionally, central aspects concerning the dissertation process are discussed.

The course is primarily aimed at members of the doctoral programme "Grenzen, Grenzverschiebungen und Grenzüberschreitungen in Sprache, Literatur, Medien" (https://www.uibk.ac.at/dk-grenzen/) or of other related doctoral programmes. Depending on the availability of places, additional doctoral students are welcome as well; however, members of the doctoral programme(s) will be given priority if necessary.
