The goal of this course is to help students expand their mastery of Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian vocabulary, grammar and orthography, as well as to develop more advanced listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. This course aims at further familiarization with Balkan cultures (history, literature and language varieties).

Basic grammar; four language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking); (socio)linguistic and pragmatic competence; competence level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference): B1 (independent user).

Interactive and media-assisted teaching techniques.

Written and oral exam; active participation in classroom activities; homework assignments.
