The language course "Ukrainian A2 " aims at developing students’ communicative FL competence, which comprises gaining basic linguistic knowledge in grammar, vocabulary, phonetics and spelling as well as training productive and receptive skills. The course will focus on speaking and listening activities, providing students with sociocultural and cross-cultural information about Ukraine.

Basic grammar; four language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking); (socio) linguistic and pragmatic competence; competence level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference): A1/A2 (basic user). Productive use of language in the following communicative areas: education, work, travelling, shopping, entertainment, hobbies, restaurant and hotel, Ukrainian holidays.
