Acquisition of knowledge with respect to basics of skitouring off-piste during the ascent and during downhill skiing.

Acquisition of basics of security in combination with the conditions on the mountain and safe group behavior off-piste.

Acquisition of knowledge with respect to the equipment needed for skitouring.

Practical course in which the learned contents of two theoretical lessons are put to practice during two days of skitouring off-piste. 

Lecture and interactive discussion, practical-methodical exercises, practical lessons, short presentations.

Written paper about planning a skitour and safety issues. Participation during the practical part in the off-piste including review of practical skills.
