UE Historical Excursion: Torino and the Alpes in Antiquity

The students have advanced their knowledge in recognising, evaluating and explaining different forms of presentation of past times for museums. They have the competence to present historical and especially ancient historical contexts on site and to deconstruct forms of presentation.
Elaboration of individual topics concerning the historical development of northern Italy and the history of ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire in their historical and cultural contexts.
Lecture, discussion, instruction for the tasks
Oral presentation at the excursion and written paper on the selected topic
Will be specified in the course
Students of the MA History (803) will receive the ECTS-Credits as given in their curriculum.
