Acquisition of skills for dealing with historic sources and studies critically, as well as thecompetence to present the newly-gained knowledge verbally and/or in writing; Acquisition of the competence to apply methods of auxiliary sciences.
Using sources that are of great importance for the medieval history of Tyrol and that have accordingly received a lot of attention in research, the critical handling of common narratives is practiced and the spectrum of possible interpretations of a source text is analyzed.
