Acquisition of basic skills for dealing with historic sources and presentations of the Middle Ages as well as skills in presenting the newly acquired knowledge orally as well as in writing. Acquisition of basic knowledge and application of relevant methods aiding scientific research.

Overview of one of the most important economic sectors of the European region Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino. In addition to technical aspects, the focus will be on legal circumstances, migration, environmental issues and problems of food and farm input supply.

Reading and discussion of sources and secondary literature; thematic presentations; group work
