Acquisition of knowledge on the different forms of historic display and the skills to present historic relations on site and to deconstruct display formats.

Acquisition of knowledge and competence dealing with historical objects and their presentations in exhibitions and in museums. Acquisition of first insights into the exiting work of creating exhibition concepts and into preservation problems of historical objects.

Presentations of the course instructor, discussion of relevant literature and methods, preparation of the presentations during the excursion, individual feedbacks.

Participation in discussions, oral presentations and preparation of a handout and other materials for the excursion.

Will be announced in class and via OLAT.
