Students master basic experimental methods of physical chemistry and the data analysis. They acquire multidisciplinary key skills in teamwork, oral ,and written communication.
Fundamentals of physicochemical measurement technology: mass, temperature and pressure measurement, vacuum generation, evaluation of experimental data and uncertainty, curve fitting; e.g. Measuring reaction enthalpy, electrolytic conductivity and molecular weights; Phase equilibria in solid-liquid and liquid-gas systems.

Script and other information in eCampus/OLAT.
Succesful passing of the Modules 1, 2, 6, 15 (Physics, Mathematics A, B; Physical Chemistry B).
Sign up till mid of February, even without meeting the prerequisites. Deadline for meeting the prerequisites is Fri, 21.04.2023, 23:59, only then participation is allowed. End of April there will be an written (OLAT-online/mulitple choice) examination of the script content
Each participant is in the lab 11 days 12:00-18:00.
The lab course will be held in Mai/June. Collisions with other courses will be taken into account if possible. All collisions should be communicated by the participants between 21.4-25.4.2023. A time schedule will be available (OLAT) at the beginning of May.
Additionally, oral examinations take place for each experiment directly before conducting it (JMHaus 30102).
