720360 SE Human-oriented work- and organizational design, human resources and organizational development
summer semester 2023 | Last update: 03.05.2023 | Place course on memo listAfter completing the course, students will have sound knowledge and skills in selected theoretical as well as methodological and practical concepts of diagnosis-supported work and organizational design.
Work is a central part of our daily life. It not only serves to secure our existence and give us meaning, but also shapes and forms people's attitudes and behavior. This was particularly evident in the past two years, which was marked by massive restrictions due to the Covid19 pandemic, both at work and in the private sphere. Corresponding relevance can therefore be ascribed to the design of humanization-oriented, humane workplaces. In the seminar, organizational diagnostic methods, intervention concepts and research results will be introduced and discussed, which are useful for dependent employees. These methods and concepts help psychologists in companies, company-based work designers, personnel managers, management consultants and those responsible in trade unions, chambers of workers and employees, works councils and trade associations to design company structures, work activities and management actions in a humane, participation-oriented and socially responsible manner. The active participation of employees in improving their work situation plays a central role in this process. Topics such as home office/telework, humanization of work, participation and organizational democracy, union activation, assessment of psychological stress, or competition/competition orientation are dealt within the seminar.
Group work, theory work with critical reflection, guest lectures, presentation for Tyrolean works councils.
