The participants are able to describe critical issues/problems clearly and in detail, giving all relevant information for understanding. They can analyse the strengths and weaknesses of solutions through logical thinking. Information is sufficiently evaluated and interpreted to produce a comprehensive analysis. Viewpoints are thoroughly questioned. They analyse (systematically and methodically) their own assumptions and those of others, and consider in depth the relevance of contexts when expressing a point of view, in order to challenge rash judgements and form their own opinions.

By playing a puzzle game (Gravitas) and an incremental game (Cell to Singularity), participants train their logical thinking and the ability to evaluate different approaches to a solution. In an interactive coaching session, theoretical concepts of critical thinking are taught and tested practically in groups.

The VERSA concept combines playing selected video games with interactive coaching sessions. During the coaching sessions, participants receive background information about the skill of interest, and how to train it. In addition, the knowledge is tested in short group activities and the participants can share personal experiences. This enables them to approach the video game with a mindset focused on training and to benefit from the game as much as possible.

The participants are free to manage their playing time, they have to reach a minimum of 12 hours within two months.
The concept is explained during the Introduction Session and participants receive technical support during the course.

Participants must actively participate in the sessions of the course and play the two computer for a total of at least 12 hours (at home with free time allocation).
