A systematic and reflective approach to literary texts and the development of a reasoned text comprehension.

War and peace The seminar will focus on texts to this topic. These will be analyzed, interpreted and discussed with regard to their quality. The range of texts covered includes well-known authors: Heinrich Heine, Paul Celan, Ruth Klüger, Renate Welsh, Julia Rabinowich and others. Students will analyse selected examples from the texts in terms of their form, style, content and reception.
