Learning Outcome:

The seminar gives an over few of black feminist theory with different Priorities. This overview is to be conveyed through the application and discussion of the theories.

Contents:

The course offers an overview of Black Feminist Theory with different foci. Although the paradigm of intersectionality was formerly nearly the only concept who has found its way into the german-speaking world, references to Black Feminist theories are currently multiplying. In the seminar we will approach critical subject theories, care theories, social- and environmental justice theories and also abolitionist perspectives.
