124143 Face-to-face course: French Basic Level IV (A2+)
winter semester 2023/2024 | Last update: 12.07.2023 | Place course on memo listPrerequisites: A2
Goal: A2+
At this level a more active participation in conversations is possible, though some restrictions in communicative ability still remain and support by the other person is sometimes necessary; e.g. the learner can start/ keep going/ end a conversation on limited, familiar matters; he/she can deal with routine information in everyday situations, but still cannot fully realize his/her communicative intention and has to search for words. In addition, the ability of sustained monologue is better developed, e.g. the learner can express in simple words how he/she feels and can talk about aspects of his/her life in detail, e.g. about people, places, job experience or education.
Topics:
being different and living together - generations, cultural differences; inequalities - occupation, immigration; digitalisation - everything online, health, social networks; leisure and different activities
Linguistic Goals:
to introduce oneself; to compare; to give advice; to express likes/ dislikes/ opinions/ wishes; to comment on a survey; to present statistics; to recommend; to state a hypothesis; to complain; to ask for something
