Linguistic Goals:
to increase communication in and the vocabulary for everyday situations; to acquire the structures by practicing them; to learn and use the direct and reported speech; to acquire the basics of the horizontal, vertical and diagonal temporal axis; to acquire the basics of location in space
The learners broaden their competence in the Austrian sign language by acquiring diverse dialogue patterns through exercises like role-plays and narration. Translation of texts, emphasizing grammar; acquisition of the signs through role-plays and dialogues
written and oral in sign language
midterm test (oral in sign language/monolog) and final test (oral in sign language/dialogues, visual understanding and theory)
