Students have gained an historical and systematic overview of Christian doctrine, and the ability to apply this knowledge in contexts of education.

Important steps of historical development and systematic significance of Christian faith convictions: the person of Jesus Christ, his role in salvation history, the trinitarian existence of God, creation of the world, view of the human person, the church, and the final destiny of world and humanity. Plausibility and interdependence of these doctrines and their and relevance for life.

Lecture, readings, 2 short papers, discussion.

2 short papers, participation in discussion, oral exam.
