433230 VO teaching aspects of e-learning
winter semester 2023/2024 | Last update: 21.06.2024 | Place course on memo listStudents will get an overview of various learning and teaching theories and approaches to media education. Students will also learn to combine the theoretical approaches with pedagogical questions to design lessons based on e-learning. Furthermore students will define their roles as e-learning teachers and thereby develop pedagogical competence in selecting, designing and teaching e-learning units in various educational fields.
Students learn about a didactic design and its components in detail and define their role as teachers in digital teaching and as instructional designer. They learn about essential legal aspects using ICT-supported media and current developments in the e-learning field.
The lecture contents are interlinked with the topics of the proseminar "433231 Designing Digital Teaching-Learning Units" (theoretical content of the conception of e-learning based teaching is covered in the lecture). The following contents are exclusively the subject of the proseminar: theory-guided selection and application of digital tools and practical work on the conception and implementation of digital teaching and learning arrangements.
Lecture, discussions, case studies.
In terms of a digital teaching arrangement, e-learning tools and relevant teaching approaches are applied. Students can experience both online synchronous and asynchronous forms of lecture. In addition to theoretical inputs, emphasis is placed on interaction through synchronous and asynchronous discussion.

An additional three units from 24/10 to 04/12/23, online/asynchronous.

Places in the Interdisciplinary Track: 10 seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to students who have also registered for the Proseminar.
