Basic knowledge of and theories of human rights, as well as the ability to present them in written and oral to present them in written and oral form in a comprehensible way; development of ethical problem awareness.
In this seminar, we are concerned with major problems and theories in the field of philosophy of human rights that will be elaborated in a systematic manner. These include origins of human rights (thought); human rights between morality, law and politics; foundations of human rights; universality vs. relativity of human rights; religions/cultures and human rights; contemporary human rights problems in detail.
