The students have basic knowledge in the field of accessibility in theory and practice. They learn various methods to apply accessibility in the field of knowledge transfer. The focus is on accessible text design, web accessibility and accessible communication.

In the seminar, theoretical basics and legal frameworks of accessibility are conveyed and combined with experiences of experts in their own field. The focus of the seminar lies in the area of barrier-free knowledge transfer. On the one hand, the focus is on questions of accessibility to information. In this context, criteria for barrier-free text design and web accessibility will be taught and practically applied, and best practice examples of various kinds will be discussed. On the other hand, various forms of accessible communication will be presented and tested in practice.
