Development of theoretical knowledge and methodological skills relevant for the independent work on a PhD thesis.
This course focuses on the topic of home/domestic space as an interdisciplinary research field. We will discuss different approaches and use these as examples for discussing connections and differences between the research questions and methods in our different disciplines.
The course ties in with the conference "Geschichte/n des Wohnens: Kulturen, Krisen, Utopien", which will take place at Innsbruck University from January 24 to 27, 2024. Attendance of (parts of) the conference is an integral part of course participation.

Active participation, planning and moderating a session, written conference report
(The exact course schedule will be discussed at the beginning of the semester. The plan is to meet every 2 weeks; attendance of the january conference (see above) and a wrap-up meeting after the conference is part of the participation).
