Practical introduction to the basic skills and techniques needed for academic research
1st part: How to write a (pro-)seminar paper?
research in the libary; data bases and bibliographies; structure and organisation of a (pro)-seminar paper; correct citation and documentation of sources; giving good presentations; basic principles of academic writing
2nd part: Presentation of the main topics of the romance studies programme by different members of the departement: literature, linguistics & cultural studies
