Students attending this course will be able to

·      identify relevant legal aspects in sports and healthcare;

·      recognise basic legal questions in criminal law and tort law;

·      possess basic knowledge in contract law;

·      assign relevant aspects of professional law, labour law and social law;

·      reflect basic aspects of organized sports as well as duties of medical support professionals, including training therapists;

·      name, identify and distinguish different medical support professionals’ rights and duties.

Legal foundations of professional practice in training therapy and the health sector as well as in organised sport; introduction to criminal law, tort law and contract law; relevant aspects in labour law and social law, relevant aspects in professional laws, including medical support professionals (training therapists) laws and deriving rights and duties.

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"
