After completing this module, students know and understand the requirements for developing software on an industrial scale. They know the methods and processes of software engineering and can apply them. In addition, they have the skill to analyse software system requirements and create sustainable software solutions. They have acquired skills in teamwork.

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

VO Software Engineering is offered as a compressed exam preparation course twice a year. This involves a time commitment of approx. 60 hours, approx. 6 to 8 hours per week.

The course comprieses the following elements:
- Asynchronous learning units based on slides and audio recordings.
- Assignments with sample solutions
- Moderated chat and individual enquiry by email
- Synchronous 90-minute units in which topics are presented, assignments discussed and questions answered.

The courses are offered 2 times per academic year:
- Start in March (1 date) and May, written exam at the end of the summer semester.
- Beginning of October, written exam end of November

Further exam dates are offered at the beginning of October and the beginning of March.
