223056 VO Pastoral People and Contexts: Pastoral action at biographical turns of life
summer semester 2024 | Last update: 29.05.2024 | Place course on memo listThe students know central approaches of biography-sensitive pastoral care and current concepts of sacramental pastoral care.
The students are able to ask about the needs of people at central biographical junctures and to design appropriate pastoral concepts.
Accompanying people "from the cradle to the grave" - not least by means of sacramental pastoral offerings - has long been a central concern of pastoral ministry. Today this succeeds more and more rarely: heterogeneous biographies and increasing mobility on the one hand, alternative offers in the area of life and ritual accompaniment on the other hand increasingly question traditional pastoral forms of action. In addition to an introduction to the basics of sacramental pastoral care, the needs and concerns of people at individual biographical junctures will be taken as a starting point for the search for adequate pastoral concepts.
Media-supported lecture with text reader and participatory elements.
