They are familiar with exegetical methods and biblical or Koranic concepts for religious education and can apply them.
The question of the relationship between the Bible and the Koran is at the center of numerous current publications. How much of the Bible is in the Koran? What do the two holy scriptures have in common and how do they differ? In the seminar we will deal with the understanding of God and revelation in Christianity and Islam and investigate the relationship between the Bible and the Koran. Questions about exegetical methods will be dealt with as well as didactic concepts in dealing with biblical and Koranic texts in religious education. A particular focus will be on the hermeneutics of texts with violent contents and their didactic treatment in religious education.
Process-oriented work, short presentations, discussion, group work.
Reading of the compulsory literature, continuous attendance and active participation, written work.
