Introduction to popular Christian piety in the antique world
Was Jesus a naughty boy? Did he trouble his parents? And how about the games he played in Nazareth? The canonical gospels don't tell us, but the Infancy Gospel of Thomas will. Rarely historical but always entertaining the Greek text will be read in seminar style.
